Is an apprenticeship right for me?

Apprenticeships are one of several ways to get your foot in the door and start learning a trade. Going this route might be right for you if:

  • You know what job you want.If you’re committed to learning a specific trade and want to get started, along with with structure and training.
  • You’re a hands-on learner. You’re raring to work on real-life projects. Remember you’ll spend around 20% of your time studying but it’s always related to the industry you’re working in.
  • You want your own money. You’ll earn from day one and you won’t start your working life with a load of student debt.
