我曾my apprenticeship working with my father back in 1985.
My father retired in 2000 which is when I became independent and started out on my own.
I have worked for Moben kitchens, B&Q and Wickes where I sub-contracted to them. I have worked for Damson homes new builds.
Qualifications
Served apprenticeship with my father, trained in the fitting of swanstone, Granite and Quartz worktops My skills are numerous, from fitting floors, doors, kitchens and bathrooms. I have excellent carpentry skills.
I also have excellent contacts for Gas Safe engineers and NIC Electricians.
I now have a great reliable team with me. Due to the business expanding into garage conversions / extensions, I have just taken on a team of excellent bricklayers who are very reliable and take pride in their job.

Kitchen fitting (pre built from DIY kitchens) & tilingKitchen Fitting
It was a challenge with Darren, it was generic things that weren’t done to our standards. He was very defensive when you told him what you wanted as kitchens aren’t fitted every day. Took quite a while to get the kitchen done to our standard. Wouldn’t book someone like him ever again, very nice at the outset then changes once they get the job.
Got a gas certificate with an address on Redditch and was told not to worry about it. Very unprofessional I would avoid!

Guv and his family were very nice from the outset… yes I agree the gas cert was sent from my gas fitter with wrong address, I apologise for that, but the gas was safe and all procedures was carried out correctly.
The first problem I came across was with the floor! We had a leak from a pipe that had been bent over and the end hammered so to seal the pipe! Been weeping for a while. Next day at no extra cost I cut out and sealed the pipe correctly. I also fixed a weep on the radiator!
Then I had his dad turned up… yet another nice member of the family, but ever time I turned he was in the way, he wasn’t helping with anything just in the way!
想爸爸一定忘记了回程I made free of charge! This was to fix a door which someone had broken (not me) the hinges had been pulled out of side panel! Wasn’t a problem I turned up and sorted that issue and adjusted some doors and filler across the oven top.
Now if I came across at times impolite … it wasn’t my intention, I do apologise
At no point did they say they wasn’t happy with anything. A few units had to be swapped round so door configuration could line up with the bottom doors…. That was it!!
I’m at a loss with comment really but I’ll take away Guv’s review.

Darren did what he said he would , and more . We are happy with the quality of work . Plus clean tidy and prompt . Fitted a complete bathroom out .Thank you.
