I am a gas safe registered heating engineer and registered on Checkatrade so we are fully vetted. About GR Plumbing
I had been working for the same company as a construction site manager for the past 9 years but have now been trading on my own for the past three years. I qualified as a plumbing and heating engineer in 2005. Apart from my main trade I have gained experience in the construction industry and am proficient at plastering, tiling, screeding, carpentry, groundwork and below ground drainage and can turn my hand to most trades with a high standard.
If I can do it I will do it, if I can't I have numerous tradesmen that I can call upon to complete the project. I take extreme pride in my work and can guarantee 100% satisfaction. I am proud to say that I haven't met a boiler that has defeated me yet!
I am able to take on all projects including boiler breakdowns, boiler installations, full bathroom and kitchen refurbishments to constructing an extension.
I may not be the cheapest but will not be the most expensive but rest assured that I will complete every job to a very high standard every time, and of course my advice is always free!!!!!

I Do not like to leave bad reviews, but Gareth was impossible to work with.
he was always on the defensive when questioned about anything, i managed the project for my neighbor, Gareth employed a subcontractor who demanded paying on arrival to do the tiles, Gareth was contracted to do, i was not onsite at this time or would have put a stop to it, and did not marry the pattern in, the shower head was loose and leaking when they left, and wanted to add extra charges to works already quoted for, in short Gareth was asked not to return, and another contractor employed to complete, a terrible experience..stephen39956- 26thJul, 2022Negative review

首先,材料没有在现场使用client was supplying, hence job being delayed. Secondly, wrong materials were supplied which again delayed job. Unfortunately one of my men had a suspected heart attack which delayed job by a week. Tried to explain but no compassion by client. I subsequently sourced a sub-contractor tiler who I have never used before to complete tiling so not to delay client further. Sub-contractor was dealing with client directly so I did not know what the payment arrangement was, and those costs were reduced off my invoice.
如果tiler was so bad as stated then why did the client use him to tile the kitchen as well. Client stated to me that he was happy with the tilers work and he is a good guy.
The leaking shower was tested thoroughly prior to leaving site and surprise surprise now it's loose and leaking. This client from the outset just wanted to pay less money. I am happy to return and finish what we had started but was told not to and if I were to contact him this would be harassment!!!
The extra charges were for materials which I had to purchase as they were not on site and also due to the poor plumbing that had been before which were push fit fittings buried in screed which is not allowed I had to charge more as this was not in my estimate and I had not carried out this work.
Please see my other feedback and take from this what you wish. I am professional, dedicated but unfortunately this was a nightmare client.

We are lucky to find GR Plumbing on My Builder, and from day one of meeting Gareth, it was apparent that Gareth and his team were dedicated to their work. Not only did they provide a fantastic service and explain everything thoroughly we feel we received the highest quality of workmanship. Gareth and Craig were always there going above and beyond to ensure that the job of installing a brand new heating system in our home went smoothly. We asked so many questions, and every question was answered and even the silly ones. Always arrived on time and ensured they cleaned up as they went along. They treat the house as their own house, therefore they chose the best way to install the pipes. We are extremely delighted with the quality of work. We would definitely recommend GR Plumbing and will be using them again for any new project. A big thank you to Gareth and Craig!
