I am an Architectural Technologist with over 20 years experience in architecture. I am also a qualified carpenter and have spent over two years building houses on site.

I provide clear precise easy to understand advice for home owners. I am friendly, reliable and very competitively priced as I charge an all in fixed fee for the job quoted with no VAT to pay.

In the ten years I have been working as an Architectural Technologist I have developed a wide understanding of building design, technologies and techniques, providing a service ranging from sketch design, planning applications through to detailed design and technical drawings during tender and construction stages.

I have worked on exciting construction projects gaining experience in key sectors such as Healthcare, Education, Residential, Mixed Use, Commercial, Industrial, Private and Affordable Housing. Working closely with colleagues as part of a larger team, at various stages, I can produce three dimensional computer and physical models, detailed design and presentational drawings.

Duties and responsibilities
• Carrying out topographic and measured building surveys.
• Drawing up surveys on CAD.
• Creating existing and proposed, plans, sections and elevations in drawing packages for planning applications to construction issues.
• Researching and developing the detailed design in co-ordination with other consultants.
• Creating specification documents.
• Putting together planning, building regulations, AI and construction drawing issues by register.
• Mentoring work experience students.
