About Rusty Nails Flooring
Hi I’m Chris Porter, after an initial twelve years in the joinery trade producing fine furniture and joinery for private and commercial clients I moved into the flooring industry, transferring these crafting skills to floor laying have enabled me to not only fit standard off the shelf click system flooring and LVT but also specialise in more prestige styles like rustic reclaimed floors and parquet new lays and repairs that often require more thought, precision and creativity.
I can also offer dust free sanding and refinishing in a multitude of oils, stains and lacquers for the restoration jobs where reviving your old floor is either the most cost effective or sympathetic to the character your property.

Parquet floor installed in hallwayCarpentry
Chris has done two separate jobs for us - laying engineered floor to en-suite and hallway and changing internal doors. Very pleased with finished result and his attention to detail is fab. Would not hesitate to recommend and hope to have him back when we extend the floor to the kitchen.
