What is causing this damp patch?
Every time it rains a damp patch forms on a wall in an upstairs bedroom. I have had the whole wall repointed and it still happens. The damp patch is half way up a wall next to a window. How can I stop it?

without looking at the issue it is not possible to say exactly what is causing this issue,
what age is the property, are their any windows near by, is their any guttering above, any pipes, broken roof tiles, to name a few causes
post the job on the site and get a local expert round to asses the cause and the cost of fixing.
good luck Alex
