Boiler pressure

Hello,

We have an issue with our boiler, when cold then pressure is at 1.3, once heated up the pressure will go over 3 and spray outside, once cold it will be under 1 so have to topup. This cycle it's goes on daily.

Any idea what could be coursing this?

Thanks

The expansion vessel has failed causing expansion in the system when it heats up.

where the water expands in sealed pipework and has nowhere to go it builds up in pressure.

压力释放阀将open up after reaching 3bar and let water out as a safety device.

This is a very common boiler fault.
In most cases this is due to a defective part in your boiler called an expansion vessel.

it sounds like the heating expansion vessel is not doing its job in taking up the expansion with in the system. this could be down to by a few things
1, the vessel has lost its charged of air and needs to be re charged
2, the diaphragm in the vessel has a hole in it and has lost its air charged
3, the pipe leading to the vessel is blocked

Its most likely the expansion vessel, or a blockage before the expansion vessel.
