Suspended floor for kitchen extension

Hi

I'm in the process of completing the suspended extended floor of my kitchen extension. I am putting insulation boards in between the joists and need some thing to hold them in place. Is it some sort of netting I need. Please advise accordingly.

Thanks in advance

Screw a batten onto each side of the joists at the depth of the insulation board if their isn't sufficient depth for the lathe then screw them into the under side this is the way to do it

Measure down joist and screw 100mm screw into joist about halfway push insulation on top will fit on the extended screw

Use wood strips, nailed or screwed, either side of the joists at an appropriate level to hold up the insulation

Chicken wire underneath the joist is the best thing you can do enough to support insulation no problem
