Gaps between external all and path

Hello,

So moved into a house 8 months ago and noticed at certain points around the house there are small gaps between the gaps and the wall, meaning you can look under the brick wall. My assumption is the ground has moved over the years creating these small gaps (several mm). There are probably 3 notable bits around the three exterior walls where you can see into the gap.

Today I noticed one of the gaps now has flying ants coming out of it, so I guess the time has arisen to seal these gaps... also I want minimise rain water getting down them.

So what is the best solution, just some cement and sand mix into the gap until full? Or is there something else I should do instead?

Sounds like the pointing in the brickwork has blown out just repoint the brickwork but just make sure you clear out any lose materials first with a stiff hand brush also be sure to use soft sand or you will have trouble with small stones
