Outside tap from sink

Hi,
I have a outside water tap connected from under the sink and through the wall of the house and clamped on the other end of the outside tap which has been secured against the wall. Obviously over time the hose connected to the tap begins to leak and the "o" clamp rusted. When the tap is switched off but the isolator on the inside is switched on the same site leaks where the hose connects to the tap... So it's a weak area. What's the best repair? Is it to replace the hose with copper piping? How much would it cost and is it a tough job? Thanks

If it was me i would be changing the flexi hose for copper and tapping in a none return valve. Not a major job at all and not costly.

I would just replace the entire tap from under the sink to the tap outside all in copper with a none return. Or better still buy an outside tap that has a check valve integrated into it they cost around £7. To get a plumber to install this for you would be cheap and take maybe 1.5 hour to do depending on the pipe work corrections etc.. but it is cheap and any good plumber will be fair and charge you a very good fixed price for well under £100

Washer has gone in the tap. Best to replace the tap itself.
