I’m wondering if this could be right. Surely the dash and render coating would prevent rain getting right through the breeze blocks. The breeze blocks are the substrate for the dash. Painting the dash would be difficult, and in severe storms bits of dash sometimes fall out which would leave untreated areas anyway. According to the manufacturer of the Storm Dry cream there must be no untreated areas or the product can’t do it’s job. The missing dash is unnoticeable as the render is also white. Should I go ahead and paint the bricks with the cream? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you
